Fried Fish - Kentucky Style

Ingredients

Directions

    1. Place iron skillet on grill and pour in oil. Heat until the skillet becomes hot (put a drop of water into the skillet and if it sizzles, it is ready!).
    2. Take fresh or frozen fish (be sure to thaw first) and thin slice them into fillets because they are better and cook faster. Place fish on plate and salt and pepper both sides.
    3. Dip fish pieces into cornmeal and coat each side. Place fish in the hot skillet and turn only once when the side closest to the oil starts to brown. When finished, place fish on paper towel to soak up extra oil.
