Sesame Encrusted Tuna Steaks with Grilled Asparagus

Ingredients

Directions

    1. Place tuna steaks in a bowl and cover them with soy sauce, allow 15-30 minutes marinade time. Turn on the grill and while it is heating, put on the red pepper. You want to blacken the pepper on all sides
    2. Remove red pepper from grill, place it in a bowl and cover bowl with plastic wrap. This will loosen the skin. Place asparagus on grille, and cook it on medium high until it is tender and slightly blackened.
    3. Remove tuna steaks from soy sauce and cover top side only with sesame seeds. Using pepper mill, put on black pepper, about 4 turns per steak. Place steaks, sesame seed side down (very important) on a medium high flame on your grill and cook for 5-7 minutes each side
    4. Peel the skin off of the red pepper, cut it and remove seeds from the middle. Place it in a food processor to chop it almost to a liquid. Place mayonnaise, pepper and apple cider vinegar in a sauce pan and warm it up (just get it hot).
    5. Serve tuna and asparagus with sauce poured over the asparagus. A sauvignon blanc will go well with this dish, ENJOY! Also a rice as a side dish is a great compliment.
