Finger Licking Ribs

These ribs are so delicious and one of my family's favorites.

Ingredients

Directions

    1. Cut ribs into 2 rib size pieces then put into a large pot. Cover ribs with cold water and bring to a boil. Skim off the froth. Reduce the heat, then cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rib pieces are tender. Drain well, and place in a large cooking dish.
    2. For the Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil and then cook the garlic and onion until soft. Add chili sauce and the remainder of the ingredients. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce your heat and simmer for 5 minutes, so that the sauce has thickened. Cool the sauce.
    3. Pour your sauce over the rib pieces, and ensure they are well covered with the sauce. Cover your cooking dish & marinate for about 20 - 24 hours. Remove 1/4 cup of your sauce - this will be used to brush your ribs with, on the BBQ
    4. Put you ribs on a hot grill on medium heat, and cook, brushing ribs with some of the sauce that you set aside earlier. Turn ribs once during grilling time. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes or until nicely browned. Now just enjoy!
