Grill-Pressed Panini Sandwiches

Grill-Pressed Panini Sandwiches



    1. Thoroughly wash skillet or brush extra cooking grate or griddle plate clean of any dirt or grease and set aside. Oil grill cooking area lightly with olive oil and preheat to medium-high heat.
    2. Cut 3 loaves in half to make 6 sandwiches. Lightly butter insides of sandwiches. Add pesto, spinach, basil, one slice of each of the cheeses and meats, and other assorted optional ingredients to each of the sandwiches and close.
    3. Place sandwiches on oiled cooking area one at a time and use your skillet or extra cooking grate to press down on the sandwiches while they cook. Be careful not to burn yourself while moving sandwiches and grates. Lower grill hood and cook for 5 - 8 minutes.
